The coaching, the community, and the third space you didn't know you were missing.
sound familiar?
You built a life on your own terms. The career. The independence. The choices that raised a few eyebrows.
But somewhere between the gym sessions you do alone and the weekends that don't quite look like everyone else's - you noticed something.
You don't have a team.
Not the way he has his. Not the way they have theirs.
You opted out of the blueprint. Nobody told you the blueprint came with a built-in community.
You're not missing something. You're just missing your people.
BarBellas exists because I was looking for them too.
the shift
How it works
The Ground:
where every BarBella begins
Before a programme. Before progression. Before any of it, you need to know how to move.
The Ground is four to six weeks of foundational coaching. Every major movement taught, filmed, and reviewed by Kate personally. The deadlift, the squat, the press, the hinge. Nothing rushed. Nothing skipped. You leave The Ground knowing exactly what you're doing under a barbell, and more importantly, why.
This is where confidence is built. Not promised.

This is not a phase with an end date. This is your ongoing life as a BarBella.
Kate builds your programme around you - your schedule, your cycle, your life. Every week a check-in that goes beyond sets and reps. Form submissions reviewed. Progress tracked in the ways that actually matter. And a coach who knows the difference between a bad training week and a bad life week.
The Practice doesn't finish. It just deepens.

Beyond The Barbell
You stop spending Sunday evenings with that quiet feeling you can't quite name. You know the one. Full life on paper. Something is missing in practice.
You have a Saturday afternoon that belongs entirely to you. Not errands. Not obligation. Not someone else's agenda. A room full of women who chose the same kind of life - and chose to spend their time in it together.
You find yourself in a WhatsApp group you actually want to open.
You have people to text when something good happens. When a lift clicks. When a hard week turns a corner. Women who get the reference without you having to explain the whole story first.
You stop being the only one in the room without a ready-made tribe and start being someone else's answer to that feeling.
You realise the barbell was never really the point. It was just the door.
And BarBellas was on the other side of it.
is barbellas right for you?
You've outgrown the gym class. You're past the beginner phase and somewhere between confident and certain -closer than you think, but not quite there yet.
You're not looking for a quick fix. You never were. You're looking for something that fits into a life you've already carefully built - and makes it richer.
You want to be coached, not managed. Seen, not processed. Part of something, not just subscribed to it.
You're the woman who does things properly when she decides to do them. BarBellas was built for exactly that woman.
BarBellas may not be for you if you're looking for rapid transformation, aesthetic-only results, or a programme that requires nothing of you. We'd rather tell you now than waste each other's time. This is a community that shows up - and asks the same of you.
Your way in
Simple. No pressure. Just the right fit.

Hi, I'm
I started going to the gym at fourteen. Not because I loved it. Because I hated my body.
For years, I tried everything the industry told me to try. I ran, I restricted, I followed trends, I chased a version of myself that kept moving further away. I even qualified as a PT while I was still, honestly, not well in my relationship with my own body. I thought being in the industry meant I had to look a certain way. I thought I needed to be on a bulk or a cut to be worthy of the job.
It took a long time, and a lot of unlearning, to find my way to strength training that was actually about strength.
Then came lockdown. I left my first marriage, moved house, started completely again. New job. New friends. New home. I did it all quietly, by myself, and told people when it was done.
That season changed everything. Not just my circumstances, my mindset, my relationship with my body, my understanding of what I actually needed from life. I stopped performing and started just being.
And what I needed - what I couldn't find anywhere - was my people.
Not a class. Not a club. Not a group of women I had nothing in common with beyond a shared gym membership. Women who chose a different life. Who love their own company but still feel the quiet ache of not having their team. Who do everything in silence and don't settle for less than they deserve.
I built BarBellas because I was still looking for it.
I'm not your hype girl. I'm not here to shout affirmations at you or sell you a transformation. I'm the big sister who figured some of this out - and I'm holding the door open for the women coming up behind me.
If you've read this far - maybe that's you.
